Plan Your DJ Set Without Losing Track of Your Records

Setlists is a new feature in Shelfify, built for vinyl DJs and collectors who pull records for a gig or a party and want them back in place afterwards. Plan a set, mark the tracks you'll play, pull the records straight off the shelf with a map in hand, and put every one back exactly where it lives.
Here's how it works.
Build as many sets as you want
A setlist is a named list of records for one occasion: an 80s night, a house set, a wedding, a stack you're lending out. Create one, name it, and add records from your collection. Adding a record to a set never moves it. It stays in its compartment on your shelf map; the set is just a temporary layer on top. Clear the list when you're done and your shelves haven't budged.
Mark the exact tracks you'll drop
Stickers on the sleeve, but digital. Mark specific tracks on any record with colored dots, group them however you mix: by genre, by tempo, by which part of the night they belong to. Add a short note per record for the cue point, the key, the intro length, or a heads-up that the pressing runs quiet. No residue, no peeling labels, and it scales to a whole bag.
See your set length instantly
Shelfify adds up the marked tracks and shows your estimated set duration. Enough for a two-hour slot, or ten minutes short? You know before you leave. Where a track length isn't on file it assumes a sensible default, so the number holds up even on older or obscure pressings. The set also shows your record count and how many tracks you've marked, so you can see at a glance whether it's ready.
Pack with a map, check off as you go
When you pack the bag, the set becomes a checklist. Every record shows its exact spot: a mini map of the room with the right compartment lit up, plus its position inside it, like "third from the left." Tap the map and Shelfify jumps you straight there. Check each record off as it goes in the bag, and the set tracks how many of the planned records you've already packed, so you never leave without the one the whole night was built around.
Everything goes back where it belongs
This is the part that saves your collection. After the gig, every record in the set still shows its exact home: room, shelf, compartment, position. No guessing at 4am. Follow the map back, slot each one in, and your shelves are exactly as organized as when you left. The set is temporary, the order is permanent, and the two never get in each other's way.
Not just for DJs
The same flow fits anyone who pulls a batch and wants it back in place:
- The records for a house party, ready before the first guest arrives.
- A stack you're lending out, so you know what's gone and where it goes back.
- Records pulled to photograph or list for sale, without scrambling your shelf order.
- A listening session, a themed evening, or a stack to play for someone visiting.
Setlists is free for one list, unlimited with Pro. Plan the set, mark the tracks, pull with a map in hand, and put every record back where it lives. Your set is ready, and your collection stays in order.
