What Shelfify is
Shelfify is a shelf-mapping app for physical music collections: vinyl, CDs and cassettes. Records can be added manually, or imported from an existing Discogs collection. Either way, Shelfify adds one thing Discogs doesn't do, which is show where a record physically is in your home: room, shelf, compartment, position.
Shelfify is not a replacement for Discogs, and it doesn't try to be. Cataloguing and pricing data stay on Discogs. Shelfify's job is the physical layer on top: the shelf.
Who makes it
Shelfify is developed by Appfium UG (haftungsbeschränkt), a software company based in Berlin, Germany. Appfium also builds other apps; Shelfify is the one for physical music collectors.

How we handle data
Your collection, shelf layouts and room configurations are stored locally on your device. Shelfify does not run a server that stores your collection. When you connect Discogs or Last.fm, the app talks to those APIs directly from your device using OAuth; your access tokens never touch our infrastructure.
The full breakdown, including analytics and crash reporting, is in the privacy policy.
Where the content on this site comes from
Every feature described on this website ships in the current version of the app. We don't publish claims about features that are planned but not released, and we don't publish claims about third-party services (Discogs, Last.fm, shelving brands) beyond how Shelfify integrates with them.
Blog posts that mention a shelving brand or third-party product disclose the relationship plainly in the post itself, for example the stocubo partnership. Nothing on this site is written by an AI without a person reviewing it against the actual app.
